Today, Tuesday, US President Donald Trump revealed in an interview with “Fox News” that he discussed the liquidation of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad with former Defense Minister Mattis, but he did not respond to that.
Trump also said that he “had a chance to assassinate Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, but then Defense Minister Mattis was against it.”
The channel pointed out on its website that the US President was likely referring to the discussions that had been previously talked about the response to a supposed chemical attack in 2017.
Later today, the US President will host delegations from the UAE, Bahrain and Israel at the White House to sign peace agreements.
In this context, Trump said that everyone who supports the Palestinians with money will sign normalization agreements with Israel.
